On the Right Track, the debut album from talented songwriter Wendy Daniels runs the rails from alt rock to western swing but carries a definite country twang sensibility as an overlay to the variety.
Many of the songs will delight the dancers in her audience since most of the tunes are perfect for two-stepping around a dance floor. Daniels isn't afraid to slow down and sing a soulful ballad, and she includes a few here such as “No, I Haven't Forgotten.”
I particularly liked “You Talk to Much” and “Chicks Rule,” both written with frequent collaborator Bret Short. They are delivered with a sassy, no-holds-barred kind of attitute that is both clever and to the point.
Wendy Daniels has songwriting skills, a great singing voice, and blonde good looks just meant for music video stardom. On the Right Track is, indeed, headed in the right direction.

Shoshaunna sums it up with a quote by her mentor, Sir Winston Churchill as her mantra which she feels will serve her well in her aspiring musical career: "Never, Never, Never Quit."

The Evangenitals were once a fictitious band - a fib on a phony website born to amuse ourselves and maybe a few friends. On a whim, founders Juli Crockett, Lisa Dee, and Brett Lyda (who all work at the same sex toy company in L.A.) brought the ghost to life and debuted a handful of "hillbilly truck-stop lullabies" for Arlo's open mic at the infamous Mr T's Bowl.
